A Modular iPhone Case For Every Situation

I haven’t reviewed many cases other than posting updates on the Otterboxes, their a tried and true product I go with what works. However the guys at Aeris have an intriguing new case the rail+ with an ingenious form factor. The rail+ like it’s predecessor the rail lend to the design and shape of the iPhone not taking anything away from its looks. The rail+ has that and basically becomes the M-16 of iPhone cases. You get your basic aesthetically pleasing rail case + a visor guard that shields both the front and back of the phone when you need it, a kick stand for at the desk along with a mount for your bike and the guys even tease an external battery piece. All these easily slide on and connect via the rail system making your phone ready for pretty much any situation. You can head over to Kickstarter now and pledge your $26 to be first inline for a rail+.

Playsurface Is This Weeks Featured Project
CES 2011 brought about a new concept the touch surface and we once again saw them in 2012. February of this year Samsung finally after two years in the works started shipping the Microsoft Surface an intuitive product with multiple touch points on a table like display. The technology is beyond innovative allowing multiple touch point references and interaction with physical objects placed on the surface the possibilities from military strategics to a whole new take on games is endless. The catch is the pricing and the coding, even if you do have the 8k for a Surface you still have to have a developer who specializes in the Microsoft Surface coding and development to do a program for you. So behold the Playsurface an affordable solution now on KickStarter, the guys goal is to get a product like this in the average developers hands allowing them to build programs for it and hopefully one day make it your new coffee table. The concept is brilliant and I hope it works out, I’ve gotten to play with the Surfaces and their amazing but not something tangible for everyone. Hopefully the guys at Playsurface can change that.

$99 XBOX Officially Launched By Microsoft

Microsoft officially launched it’s XBOX 360 Kinect bundle for $99 grant it that’s with a 2 year contract paying $14.99 for XBOX Live Gold. How do the numbers add out you ask? Well by retail prices you end up paying $460 after two years but only $99 up front, on the flip-side if you get that all new and pay upfront you pay $420. Like any rent to own deal you pay more in the long run but its not gonna blow a shotgun sized hole in your pocket to begin with. To some this might be a great deal and defiantly something consumers are used to.
